Walden Pond
October 7, 2006

In October my parents and I made a pilgrimage to Walden Pond, where Henry David Thoreau spent 1845 and 1846. Massachusetts' foliage did not disappoint and neither did the serene water. Afterward we visited the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord where Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Ralph Waldo Emerson lie alongside Thoreau.
