Hua Shan
June 12, 2006

Hua Shan, or Mount Hua, is one of China's five sacred mountains, appears to offer magnificent views when the sky is clear. Unfortunately for us, it rained on our visit. The fog and damp stone path still made for a good trip, and thankfully a Swiss-made gondola aided the ascent.
