After an early morning flight from London Stansted, the group landed in Palermo, Sicily. Cefalu was our first destination, and is home to a Norman Cathedral (though a little different than the ones I'd studied in England). Unfortunately it was closed that day, so we were left to our own devices, which meant eating lunch and taking our first pictures of the Mediterranean. In the evening we boarded a bus which took us east to Mazzaro and our lodging for the next two nights.
