Our third set of Olympics tickets were to dressage, that most aristocratic of events. Although I don't know much about the takt, losgelassenheit, anlehnung, schwung, geraderichtung, and versammlung training regimen of the dressage horse, it was still pretty easy to see why this is known as "Horse Ballet." Perhaps the most amazing part, given the specialization of the riders and the opaqueness of the judging, was that the stands were completely packed--a real testament to the popularity of the games here.
